Based on his discoveries, Dr. Miron pioneered the Bio-PRF technology, which is now used within all his clinical practices and with many other practitioners worldwide (www.bio-prf.com). His thesis involved the research and development of the Bio-Heat protocols whereby a natural filler material produced entirely from whole blood, drawn from the recipient, and concentrated in a centrifugation system followed by a specific heating process could act as a natural ‘Bio-Filler’.
This ‘Bio-Filler’ is utilized effectively for facial injections as a natural alternative to more commonly used synthetic dermal fillers such as Juvaderm and Restylane. These protocols are 100% natural with no chemical additive and were developed within his research laboratory. Dr. Miron is extremely well-traveled, having lived in Switzerland for over seven years from the late 2000s to 2016, where he performed much research advancing numerous medical biomaterials, including platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) therapy. In total, he has written four textbooks, with his most recent titled: “Platelet Rich Fibrin in Facial Esthetics,” in which he and his collaborator Dr. Catherine Davies highlight the use of natural regenerative modalities for facial and hair esthetic procedures. During his weekends, Dr. Miron often travels both nationally and internationally to conduct courses found at Advanced PRF Education (www.prfedu.com). He teaches other doctors and staff how to perform his recommended protocols within their own offices.
